2000 - We visited this facility to vacuum test our Liner
on existing tanks. The test performed was a vacuum test (5 inches of
mercury=2.5 PSI), which held for a day and a half, before we finally
released the pressure. This far exceeds test requirements
for water tightness.
This tank happened to also be damaged at the factory from a forklift, leaving a hole in the side of the tank prior to lining it showing our that our liner repairs damaged areas as well.
We lined
the exterior (100%) of an existing tank in order to perform
vacuum tests for water tightness.
You can see how well the vacuum was working.
